LIMETS I and II (Liquid Metal Embrittlement Testing Station)
(SCK-CEN - Belgium)Limets 1&2 are both hosted in SCK?CEN and the difference between them is that: LIMITES I is for non-radioative tests, while LIMITES II is incorporated in hot cell and can accept radioactive specimens and also radioactive Lead alloys.
They offer these benefit :

- allows control of the LM chemistry (i.e. oxygen control)
- wide range of strain rates
- test temperatures = 550°C
- samples: tensile, crack growth
- max. load 10 kN
- max. pressure 3 bar
