Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas MedioAmbientales y Tecnológicas (CIEMAT) is the Spanish national research centre for Energy, Environment andTechnology. Its research covers a large number of topics on different sources of energy and their impact on the environment.
The Fission Department, with more than 10 years experience in different research projects of the EU and international organizations (NEA/OCDE, IAEA and ISTC) on ADS, Partitioning and Transmutation, is participating on IP_EUROTRANS.
In EUROTRANS, it will contribute to the DEMETRA domain with the coordination of the WP2 (Reference Materials Characterization in HLM) as well as with experimental and analytical studies on the compatibility of structural materials in LBE and on the behaviour of irradiated materials.
